Reduce Reuse Recycle

Granite Office Supplies is proud to announce a new partnership that will provide added value to our customers. SBK Recyle is a local electronics recycling company and they have moved into our warehouse complex. This now allows Granite Office Supplies to provide free pickup of electronics for our customers. Here is how it will work:

1. Drivers will pickup used electronics for free anytime they are making a delivery to a customer as long as the items can be easily brought back by a single driver

2. If your company has a need to pickup a large quantity of electronics we can schedule a pickup time for a small fee

3. Most electronics are free to recycle, however here is a list of all the items and any charges associated with them (these are taken directly from SBK Recycle’s website and will be passed along to the customer):

  • CRT monitors (5.00)
  • Televisions (.50 a diagonal inch)
  • A/V Gizmo (Free)
  • Camera (Free)
  • Cell phones (Free)
  • Computers (Free)
  • Copiers (Free)

Did you know? We still pickup used boxes for reuse, just have them available for our drivers when they make deliveries (we also pick up empty toners)

We are proud to announce that you can order your imprinted envelopes and letterhead from Granite Office. We have already provided this service to a few of our customers and the responses we have gotten so far have been very positive. Most importantly these customers have saved a lot of money over what they were currently paying. And that is even on their first order with us which includes the cost of setup for the initial order.

Here’s a breakdown of the important points:

1. Save money on your envelopes and letterhead

2.Products are imprinted in 1 or 2 color lithographic process

3. Envelopes and letterhead are Columbian brand by MeadWestvaco and we offer a wide variety of envelope sizes and features

4. Minimum order of 1,000 envelopes with even better pricing starting at 2,500 or more envelopes

5. We will provide assistance to get everything setup exactly as needed to ensure complete satisfaction

6. Completed products will be delivered to you about one week from the time of an approved order

Here are the rebates being offered by HP right now on Laserjet and inkjet toners. The first one here is good for a $15 gas card when you buy $75 of  qualifying inkjet cartridges on the same invoice. The second rebate is a $30 gift card when you purchase two of the same laserjet toners on the same invoice. These offers are good through June 30, 2010 and you can redeem them up to 10 times during the quarter. Get some perks HP just for buying the toner you already are going to get from Granite Office Supplies.

Our goal with rebates is to make our customers aware of how to get the best value for office supplies and furniture and the HP rebate programs have been great. Another program a lot of our customers have enjoyed is the HP Purchasedge program that rewards you for buying genuine HP toner cartridges for your machines. Goal Achievement Victory

Just wanted to update everyone on our plans throughout this month. This is the end of 2009 and we would really like to meet our yearly sales goals. Time certainly does fly when you are having fun. We have so many good things going on that will help us become an even better office supplies and furniture company I don’t even know where to start. Oh wait, yes I do…

First of all: our pricing is getting better for our customers. This, of course, is very good news. We really are learning as we go and recent plans we have put in place are going to ensure that our customers get the best pricing and service they can. I would go into details, but it is office supplies and I know that it’s not that exciting for most so I will hold myself back. What’s important is that we keep developing a business that keeps you running smoothly at great pricing. We know how important pricing is and we won’t forget it.

Other programs we are working on are: better values on furniture and printers, improving your online purchasing experience and operational processes that make us better.

We already have seen success with the furniture and can likely find you a great value on chairs if you are in the market. The printer rebate program is working out well also.
