I was just running reports on some of our customers and realized we have about 25 who should join HP’s Purchasedge program. Once you sign up we submit your purchasing history to HP and you get 1 point for every $4 you spend on HP supplies for your printers. Then you decide what to use your points on. Points do expire after 2 years so you should be spending about $1000/year on HP toner to make it worth your while.
One of our customers has earned nearly 2,700 points in one year which they could use on the color laserjet CP1518ni printer which sells for $399. Our lowest earning member has still earned almost 300 points in one year that would get them the D1660 inkjet printer valued at $35. Luckily for these guys they are able to use their points. I have one customer that hasn’t joined yet and they would have earned 1,800 points on their purchases for this year. That’s enough for the P1505n laser printer that sells for $249. What sucks for them is that you don’t earn any points until you have joined. My job is to convince them (and the other 24) to join.
You may ask why we do this? Because customers that get more value from us on the office supplies they buy are happy customers. We love happy customers because they should come back to us again and again. That’s our philosophy with everything we do.

Join the program. Don’t worry it’s a simple process.
